Snapchat Geofilters
The Snapchat Geofilters above brought something new to campus. The first one in the upper left instantly became popular and students talked about the geofilter for weeks. I came up with the idea and submitted all six of these to Snapchat throughout the year for certain events. The Boone one is on Snapchat stories constantly. When first making the geotags it was hard to formulate a design due to the specific design criteria on Snapchat's website. In the end, I created Snapchat approved Geofilters that our students use around campus
Alongside our hardworking Student Government Association, I produced a short advertisement for for Brave Aid, an annual charity event. The event raised money to sponsor dogs at the Orange County Animal Services with urgent medical needs such as, being heartworm-positive or in need of an expensive surgery, like tumor removal. Through the commercial, I help spread awareness for dogs in need and informed students what their money supported. After calculating the event totals Cassandra Stilwell, SGA sponsor, reported to BoonePubs that the event raised $4800 for animals in need.
Bring the still to life with an Aurasma
|
About: This Aurasma made it's way onto the Edgewater Rivalry page. The Aurasma featured student submitted Snapchat stories from game day. I asked select students to send me their Snapchat stories. Once I received them I put them in time order so students could go back and experience the day from start to finish.

About: I blasted this Aurasma on social media and also placed it in the book on the homecoming page. The video featured a recap of the week with dress up days, homecoming events and student life.

Storify
About: Storify a website available to anyone. Users are able to drag in clips from different social media sources into one timeline. This creates a story which can then be shared. When viewers open the link they are able to see a story in chronological order. Below I created one to display all my tweets from a softball game I live tweeted.

Recently I started working at Christ for all Nations. CfaN is a global television network that broadcasts all over the world, on a variety of networks. Here in the United States they broadcast on Channel 45. Above are two enriching African testimonies I edited. I worked to express their stories in a proper manner using a documentary-style of editing.
Revive the Tribe
In September of 2016 Dusty Johns, Boone High School principal, asked me and asked me to make two videos for Revive the Tribe, an upcoming capital campaign for athletic renovations. The two videos below are what I wrote, produced and edited. One video featured a faster edit while the other focused more on students asking people to donate. After creating the videos BHSAA president Tom Kelly wrote “You have a talent that is rare and refreshing. The ‘can do’ attitude that you possess will get you very far in this world. We are proud to call you a Brave. Thanks for all your hard work.”
